Daily Itinerary

Day 1 - Fly from LAX non-stop, Business class to London.

Day 2 - Arrive London, transfer to hotel. A quick cat nap may be in order due to jet-lag. We will spend the early evening working our way over to the London Eye just before sunset for the best views of London from above. After our “birds eye view” of London we will head over to Piccadilly Circus and London’s West End for dinner and a casual stroll.

Day 3 - The first part of the day will include Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament. We will take a tour of Westminister Abbey then head over to Buckingham Palace to watch the changing of the guard. Off to Harrods for lunch and the most amazing variety of foods anywhere on the planet. After lunch, we will head over to tour the Tower of London then back to the hotel. A small “pit stop” before we head out for dinner and a stroll around Trafalgar Square.

Day 4 - Today is our day trip outside the city. We are off to try and decipher the mysteries of Stonehenge then to Windsor Castle for a grand tour.

Day 5 - This morning we will tour the British Museum. After lunch, we will take the high-speed Eurostar “chunnel” train to Paris.

Day 6 - Today is the day the tour splits. For those of you going to the OPTIONAL Le Cordon Bleu pastry class, you will start your day at 8:00 A.M. to get to the Academie and your seven hour class on time. Based on the amount interest in the class, we may be able to get our own private class. The rest of us will take our “historic core of Paris” walking tour. We will tour the Notre Dame Cathedral, The Deportation Memorial and handful of other historic sites. After our walk, we will wander over to the Latin Quarter for lunch. In the late afternoon, we will return to the hotel to freshen up and meet back up with our pastry making friends (let’s hope they bring us a few samples) for dinner and our “Illuminated at Night” Seine River cruise.

Day 7 - Today we will start out at the Trocadero Square for the best photos of the Eiffel Tower in Paris. We will follow up with a tour of the tower and the Champs du Mars. After the Eiffel Tower, we will take a quick ride just a few blocks away to relax and stroll like Parisians in the Luxembourg Gardens. After a short break, we will tour Napoleons Tomb and Invalides. We will return to our hotel to freshen up before dinner and our “Paris at Night” tour to watch the city come back to life after dark.

Day 8 - On our first day trip outside of Paris, today we will visit Normandy and the D-Day invasion beaches. After we check into our hotel, we will tour the beaches, American Memorial Cemetery, Batterie de Longues and Pointe du Hoc.

Day 9 - Today we will finish up our tour of Normandy with the Caen Memorial (WWII Memorial Museum) and a visit to the Bayeux Tapestry. We will return to Paris to continue our sightseeing, this time on the Left Bank for a different perspective of the city.

Day 10 - We start today touring the Louvre Museum, relaxing and having lunch in the nearby gardens of the Louvre. After lunch, we make our way to the Arc De Triomphe and the Champs Elysses. After a short trip back to the hotel, we are off to Montemartre to watch the sun go down over Paris, then a tour of the Sacre’ Couer and dinner in Montemartre.

Day 11 - After breakfast, we head 20 minutes out of Paris to the one and only, Palace at Versailles. After a tour of Versailles, we make our way to the train station for a first class trip on the Eurostar back to London. We will be staying overnight in London.

Day 12 - We will be leaving London early this morning flying Business Class non-stop to LAX.
